Henna / Mehandhi Hair oil

This hair oil can be used for the growth and the maintenance of the hair.

Mehandhi leaves 2 cups
500 grams coconut oil
1/2 tsp whole peppercorns

Grind mehandhi leaves with a little water to a smooth fine thick paste. Shape them into small flat pieces and dry in the sun. Store them in a airtight container.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. When it is about to boil add peppercorns and let them splutter.

Cool and add the dried mehandhi pieces to it and keep in an airtight container for two days. The oil will change to a dark green colour.

You can strain and use as and when you need and leave the remainder in the container itself.

Note:

When the oil gets over, you can heat more oil and add to the same mehandhi pieces.

You can use it twice if you like but don't use the mehandhi pieces if the does not change colour. Add new pieces to the oil.

Otherwise, there will be no effect of the mehandhi leaves in the oil.
