Healthy Green leaves Soup


Ingredients:
2 cups Drumstick leaves
2 cups greens chopped fine
1/2 cupcelery chopped
green chillies - chopped
1/2" piece ginger chopped
Salt to taste
2 tbsps ghee
1tsp mustard seeds
1 stalk curry leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/4 tsp Pepper powder

Method:
Mix all the leaves except celery , add four cups of water, bring to boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add celery, green chillies, ginger and simmer till they are tender. Mash nicely
Heat ghee , add mustard, cuurry leaves, asafoetida and cumin seeds. when they splutter add to the soup.
Sprinkle pepper powder , mix well . Serve hot.

Note:
This soup is very good for indigestion and acidity and also for removing excess phlegm from the body.
Can also be given to Asthma patients and for the patients suffering from kidney stones and gall bladder stones.
This soup can be easily given to Diabetics and the drumstick leaves contains all the vitamins and minerals. These leaves are like Multi vitamin tablets.
