What are Aerobics?

Aerobics is an exercise which is energetic and vigorous which lasts long enough. If done regularly this is enough to keep your heart  and lungs in good condition. Aerobics exercises burn calories very fast than other types of exercises. Aerobics is a type of physical exercise  that consists of stretching and strength training routines with the objective of improving all elements of fitness in a rhythmic  way so that you can improve muculsr strength, flexibility  as well as cardio vascular fitness.

This aerobics exrecise is always performed to the background music with a large group of people together and is conducted by a trainer or an instructor.  You can also try that out alone in the privacy of your home.
Other forms of vigorous exercises like cycling, swimming and jogging are also associated regimens  with the same purpose.

The word "aero in the Aerobics"  means incorporating oxygen  as it is used by the body  during the prolonged aerobics exercises. Aerobics exercises are  very simple to start  and very easy to  follow. They are the type of exercises which will pressurize the the body to elevate the oxgen intake  and for that the exercise have to be continuous and rhythmic  to avoid the declines and spines in the oxygen consumption. The target muscles, all of them should be used, increasing the work which the heart and the lungs were always doing .
